Interactive kinetic sculpture concept
3D ModelIlluminator is a conceptual exploration of physical installation art. I was inspired by the beautiful and provocative installations I saw at Burning Man as I went for the first time in 2017. I have a dream of making my own interactive art one day, for now my dreams live as 3D concepts.
The idea behind this piece is to create an introspective space which is not fully isolated from the outside world. The core is suspended above the ground with a radial set of articulated petal-like forms which envelop a single person when lowered. The translucent fins on these petals are illuminated with psychedelic visuals.
