Immersive eight-chapter whodunit with hidden games

Wonderful Company brought me on to lead interactive and front-end development of this ambitious promotional giveaway campaign for the Pistachios brand. We developed an immersive eight-chapter experience with hidden games where users help Ernie the Elephant track down the missing “nature film” he made with the Squirrel Sisters.

Each chapter's game had unique interactions and challenges, including custom vfx shaders, rigid body physics systems, pseudo-3d graphics effects, and fully device responsive game environments.

Working with one other frontend developer, I was responsible for leading graphics development as well as establishing the site’s architecture and build system and our device responsiveness strategy.
